More Requirements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Essential for external auditors and those signing off on financial statements. Requires passing a multi-part national or regional exam and fulfilling a work experience requirement under a licensed CPA
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA): The premier global certification for internal auditors. Administered by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), it requires a degree, 2 years of internal audit experience, and passing a 3-part exam.
Other Specializations: Includes Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) for IT systems and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) for forensic accounting
